It really is an Indiewood picture, there's still some of Gondry's magic in there but I might go as far as saying that it's fleeting. Sad but ture. It was bound to happen. I mean, Gondry's great, but the premise of this alone scares the hell out of me. Though given my town's being hit with a film festival this weekend, maybe I won't get a chance to see it after all. I'm really scared of disappointment with this one, though even Gondry had to lose his magic touch sometime.
